Second cycle Academic Diploma

Percorso didattico-esperenziale-lavorativo di grande specializzazione stilistica sulla chitarra classica.

Ciascuno studente parteciperà ad ensemble orchestrali con i quali si esibirà in contesti professionali, quali festival e teatri, a completamento della propria formazione e inserimento nel mondo del lavoro.

Ciascuno studente sarà seguito nella produzione dei propri progetti artistici, dalla scrittura all’arrangiamento, dalle prove alle registrazioni, fino al missaggio dei brani e loro pubblicazione od esecuzione dal vivo.

Deep stylistic specialization, composition, arrangement and production of original projects in the studios of Saint Louis, Professional Ensembles with famous artists.

  • ogni studente avrà a disposizione lo studio di registrazione per produrre il proprio progetto artistico, in collaborazione con gli specializzandi dei corsi di fonia e musica elettronica
  • approfondimento di stili e linguaggi contemporanei anche sperimentali non strettamente legati alla tradizione e con artisti e guest internazionali
  • laboratorio creativo finalizzato alla composizione, elaborazione, arrangiamento e produzione di un proprio progetto discografico originale
  • Studio di un secondo strumento in un’ottica di polistrumentismo, a scelta fra Batteria, Basso elettrico, Canto, Chitarra

Since 2012 Saint Louis has participated in the Erasmus + program, which offers the possibility to every student of Academic level to live periods of mobility in other European and Extra-European Higher Education Institutes for study or internship projects.

Each student can therefore benefit of a maximum of 12 months of study or internship abroad for each study cycle (12 months max in the three-year first cycle, 12 months max in the two-year second cycle of academic studies), choosing one’s destination among a wide and excellent offer of foreign partners that Saint Louis has established and consolidated over time.

REQUIREMENTS: 1st Cycle three-year academic diploma already achieved or to be achieved by the February session (registration with reservation)

  1. Consult the Admission Requirements and Study Plan section: Check that your preparation is in line with the skills required for the individual tests by accessing the “Admission requirements and study plan” section.
  2. Fill in the application webform: You can apply to take part in the entrance exam to the 1st and 2nd cycle academic courses from 3rd February to 30th April. International students may apply as of January 1st every year until 30th April. Applications submitted subsequently may be considered only on the basis of the places remaining available.
  3. Take the admission tests on site:Admission tests are held on at least two consecutive days. International candidates can sit the tests online.

Mandatory attendance to the minimum extent of the 80% of the lessons.

  • FULL-TIME ATTENDANCE: Classes are mostly held with fortnightly cadence, organized in alternate weeks, with the exception of the instrument / singing lesson which can be organized at the student’s choice on a weekly or fortnightly basis. About 300 hours of classes per year.
  • PART-TIME ATTENDANCE: Students who, for work or distance reasons, are unable to attend all the lessons provided for in the study plan can personalize their own study plan choosing how many subjects to attend from year to year. Part-time attendance implies a probable extension of the course of study beyond 3 years.
