Daniele Pomo began his studies at age 11 at Lazio’s leading educational facilities. At 19 he began teaching drums and solfeggio, both privately and at a number of music schools in Rome and Lazio.

Since 2000, he has been teaching at the Saint Louis Music Institute in Rome, where he serves as coordinator of the Department of Drums address Popular Music.

He has collaborated with numerous pop-rock artists such as: Steve Hackett and Anthony Phillips (Genesis), David Jackson, Graham Nash, Steven Rothery and Steve Hogarth, Dionne Warvick, ,Ron, Patty Pravo, MariellaNava, Tosca, Mietta, Paolo Vallesi, Franco Fasano, Corona, Silvia Salemi, Rovescio Della Medaglia.

He is the leader of the group RanestRane, one of the most recognized realities of contemporary Italian Progressive.

With this project he has released five studio albums and a live CD-DVD, and with the same RanestRane he carries on an intense concert activity .

In 2013, together with guitarist Enzo Vita, as Artistic Director, he reformed the historical group “Il Rovescio della Medaglia” with which he performed the work “Contamination of J. S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier.”

He performs composition work for the Titanus fiction section and has collaborated on numerous Rai and Mediaset theme songs with Maestro Pintucci.

Daniele Pomo is a testimonial for Italy and abroad for the following brands: Sonor drums and percussion; Meinl cymbals and percussion; Vater drumsticks and beats; Evans skins.
