A composer, arranger, conductor and lecturer, he was born in Frosinone in 1993 and settled in Rome after coming of age.

Study at Saint Louis College of Music

  • Earning a Level I academic diploma in Jazz Pianoforte, Level I master’s degree in Film Scoring, and finally a Level II academic diploma in Jazz Composition and Arranging.

Prepares and discusses a thesis on “Recomposition: techniques and achievements in jazz” which is awarded the dignity of publication.

Currently, he is enrolled in the Level I academic course in Conducting at the “Luisa D’Annunzio” Conservatory of Pescara.

Gabriele Ceccarelli has collaborations to his credit with such soloists as Paolo Fresu, Javier Girotto, Natalino Marchetti and Marco Siniscalco.

In 2020, he entered the final round of the Comp Graz International Jazz Composition Competition, placing in the top ten.

Gabriele Ceccarelli in 2022, debuted as a conductor with the Free Orchestra of Italian Jazz (LOJI), releasing an EP on music by Marco Siniscalco.
