Giordano Corapi after graduating in the studio of electric bass with M° Gianfranco Gullotto, he graduated in Composition at the Saint Louis College of Music under the guidance of M. Gianluca Podio.

In the next two years, as a pupil of M° Podio and M° Ferdinando Nazzaro, he specialized in Music for Film.

In the cinema she performs the music of several films, including Guido Lombardi’s “Take Five” (nomination for David di Donatello and the Silver Nastro 2015; wins the Ciak d’Oro 2015 and the Colonne award for the best soundtrack 2014).

Also for Lombardi makes the music of the films “The thief of days” and “La Bas” (vincitore del Leone del futuro – miglior opera prima – Premio De Laurentiis – Mostra del cinema di Venezia 2011).

“L’amore a domicile” and “Sulla Strada di casa” by Emiliano Corapi (con il quale vince il Premio Roma Videoclip 2012 come miglior compositore emergente).

“Tito and the Aliens” by Paola Randi with Valerio Mastandrea, “Bob & Marys – Criminals at Home” by Francesco Prisco, with Rocco Papaleo and Laura Morante.

“The Legend of Bob Wind” by Dario Baldi (with Corrado Fortuna, Ivan Franek, Lavinia Longhi), “Gomorroide” by Francesco Prisco and Ditelo Voi.

In the Theatre since 2008 he collaborates with Gabriele Lavia, for whom he composes the music of several theatrical performances including “Macbeth” by William Shakespeare (with G. Lavia and Giovanna Di Rauso) with whom in 2009 he is finalist to the ETI award.

In the framework of artistic installations since 2015 he collaborates with the Carla Fendi Foundation for which he composes the music of various works exhibited and represented at the Festival of the Two Worlds in Spoleto.

In 2014 he won the Colonne Sonore award.Net as Best Italian Composer 2014.
