Stefano Bagnoli has a long jazz history behind him that began in Milan in 1951, the year in which brothers Carlo and Gigi founded one of the first Italian jazz bands (Milan College Jazz Society).

Stefano has been linked artistically with Paolo Fresu, the Jannacci family, Dado Moroni, and Franco Ambrosetti for decades.

In more recent times also with Massimo Ranieri and his all-star band “Mal├Ča,” Marcella Carboni’s trio (with Paolino Dalla Porta) and Dino Rubino’s trio (with Marco Bardoscia).

Since 2012, as a talent scout, he created his own trio (S.B. We Kids Trio) discovering new talents such as Francesco Patti, Giuseppe Cucchiara, Giuseppe Vitale and Stefano Zambon.

Stefano Bagnoli, we hear him alongside Enzo Jannacci, Gianni Basso, Paolo Fresu, Fabrizio Bosso, Massimo Moriconi, Lee Konitz, Claudio Fasoli, Ares Tavolazzi, Massimo Ranieri, Ornella Vanoni and many others.


With Clark Terry, Harry Sweet Edison, Buddy De Franco, Lee Konitz, Ralph Sutton, Slide Hampton, Bob Mintzer, Steve Grossman, Chico Buarque, Joe Lovano and many others.
