Sunday May 7th first date with Jamming 2006.

The new exhibition was created by the Fondazione Musica per Roma in collaboration with the Saint Louis College of Music. Every Sunday, from May to July, from 11.30 to 16, the best musicians trained in the prestigious Roman school, will perform in the Cavea of the Park of Music.

Thirteen free concerts to listen to jazz, blues and rock music of new Italian talents.

In addition, during the concerts, the audience can sit at the BArt, the cafeteria of the Auditorium, and enjoy the brunch (12 euro). The initiative is organized on the occasion of the 30 years of activities of Saint Louis.
Founded in 1976 in the heart of Rome, the Scuola hosts every year more than 1,000 students from all over Italy and boasts a faculty composed of 64 musicians of national and international renown led by M° Stefano Mastruzzi. Just on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary will be inaugurated in September 2006 the third operating headquarters, also in Rione Monti.

It is the only School of Jazz, Blues and Rock Music to have achieved the approval of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, as well as being accredited as a professional training institution for “Modern Orchestra Musicians” and “Sound Technicians” in the Lazio Region.

In the Jammin’ year 2006 the groups will be accompanied for the occasion by exceptional “master”: Javier Girotto, Rosario Giuliani, Enzo Pietropaoli, Fabrizio Bosso, Gabriele Mirabassi e Roberto Gatto. These already established artists will accompany the youngest in a generational exchange of musical ideas, contributing their experience to their music.

Jamming 2006 every evening two concerts, every night two special guests, every evening new sounds, all to listen to.
